About the role

The role involves managing Smarsh's global data center operations, including server infrastructure, network management, and security protocols. It also includes working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain server infrastructure, including hardware and software updates.
• Oversee network management, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Implement and enforce security protocols to protect sensitive data.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to resolve operational issues and improve efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to inform operational improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in data center operations or IT management.
• Proven experience in managing server infrastructure and network management.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash).

Skills

• Technical proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux).
• Experience with disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually.
