About the role

Vector Solutions is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive – Federal. This position requires a sales-driven individual with strong customer focus, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of success in driving revenue through complex solution sales processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets
  • Arrange meetings with relevant stakeholders and create a basis for customer business cases
  • Demonstrate and differentiate the product from competitors, emphasizing our clear value proposition
  • Forecast and deliver against substantial revenue targets and achieve assigned sales volume
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, and follow up on defined business opportunities
  • Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to generate leads and increase brand awareness
  • Maintain detailed reports in the CRM system documenting sales activities, including calls, meetings, demonstrations, sales, lost business, and customer/prospect interactions
  • Communicate with customers and partners to understand their issues and suggest solutions to meet their needs
  • Organize demonstrations of the product’s functions and utility for customers based on their needs
  • Create and implement territory sales plans
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience to the Federal Government, including 2 years in complex solution sales or enterprise software sales
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related field (preferred)
  • Proven track record of success in driving revenue through discovery, prospecting, and creating new business
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and CRM applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Specific work experience in selling to the Federal Government
  • Experience selling to organizations with over 5,000 employees
  • Creativity and organization skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to develop lasting professional relationships with clients
  • Strong speaking and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Ability to travel up to 40%

Pay

Base salary range provided is a good-faith estimate at the time of posting. Actual pay may vary based on factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. Compensation will always comply with applicable state and local pay laws, including but not limited to those in California, Colorado, New York, and Washington.
