Enterprise Account Executive

Squad Health is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with 3‑8 years of experience to join a small, high‑performing engineering team building the first AI‑native specialty medication access platform. You’ll be a product‑minded builder who owns projects end‑to‑end at a company that grew from 100 to 2,500 prescribers in a year and is on track to hit 4,000 by year‑end.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship provider‑facing product features across the full stack (Python, React, Postgres).
• Develop AI‑powered automation for prior authorizations, benefits verification, and pharmacy integrations.
• Build internal AI tooling and enablement infrastructure (local model hosting, PHI‑compliant data pipelines).
• Own projects from problem identification through shipped outcome and monitor impact.
• Work closely with founders and a small engineering team to define product direction and engineering culture.

Requirements

• Full‑stack web development experience (Python, React, Postgres) — must know Python.
• Product‑minded engineer who can surface problems, build solutions, and monitor outcomes end‑to‑end.
• Startup experience or demonstrated ability to operate with high autonomy and minimal structure.
• Experience building or integrating AI‑powered features into production products.
• Must be on‑site in NYC (Flatiron) — open to relocation but no remote work.
