About the role
The role is for an Account Executive to help accelerate Simple AI's sales motion and close high-impact deals. Simple AI is an enterprise voice AI company that helps businesses like Doordash, xAI, and Omaha Steaks handle phone operations. The position involves owning deals end-to-end, from prospecting to closing.
Responsibilities
- Prospecting into target accounts
- Running discovery sessions
- Leading demos
- Navigating multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Negotiating contracts
- Closing new business
Requirements
- 2–6 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, preferably closing mid-market or enterprise deals
- A track record of hitting or exceeding quota
- Strong discovery, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to translate technical products into clear, compelling business value
- High ownership mindset and comfort operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment
- Excellent communication skills and genuine interest in working with customers
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for AI and its impact on business operations
Qualifications
- Experience selling to leaders of contact centers
- Experience as an Account Executive at an early-stage startup (Seed → Series B)
- Experience with multi-stakeholder sales cycles and navigating complex organizations
