Enterprise Account Executive
Parabola is a workflow builder that makes it easy to organize and transform messy data from anywhere—PDFs, emails, spreadsheets, and more—so forward‑thinking teams can automate work that used to require engineering support. Brands such as Brooklinen, On Running, and Flexport use Parabola to save hundreds of hours and tackle projects that once felt out of reach.
About the role
Our customers say Parabola gives them dignity, power, and a more fulfilling work experience. We are expanding our sales team to bring Parabola to more finance and operations teams at fast‑growing brands. You will work closely with our CRO and the GTM organization, driving revenue growth and evangelizing the platform to enterprises that can benefit from automation and AI.
Responsibilities
- Evangelize Parabola, showing prospects how they can automate complex, data‑heavy processes without an IT team.
- Identify high‑impact, “hair‑on‑fire” use cases that affect revenue, cost, growth, and risk.
- Source and close new business to consistently meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas.
- Conduct discovery calls to help prospects pinpoint meaningful initial use cases.
- Lead demos and manage risk‑free 30‑day proof‑of‑concepts for retail, freight, and other operationally complex organizations.
- Share insights from customer conversations with product, engineering, and design teams.
- Understand upstream and downstream workflows, helping customers collaborate across teams and uncover additional leverage points.
- Partner with stakeholders at all levels—from individual operators to CTOs, CFOs, and COOs—adapting your approach as needed.
- Build champions within customer organizations who become internal evangelists for Parabola.
- Serve as a positive conduit for cross‑functional feedback, keeping Automation Engineers, Product, and executive sponsors informed and prepared.
- Model a high‑performing, collaborative mindset for peers and contribute to a culture of shared success.
- Help develop and refine an enterprise playbook that will support current and future GTM growth.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of experience as an Account Executive, preferably in a fast‑growing startup or larger tech company with a proven record of exceeding quota.
- Fast learner who thrives in ambiguous, challenging environments.
- Demonstrated sales excellence with a customer‑centric operating rhythm and consistent results.
- Full‑cycle sales experience: prospecting, proof‑of‑concepts, negotiations, and expansion.
- Experience selling to companies of roughly 500–8,000 employees, with a track record of rapid initial landings and strategic expansion.
- Horizontal product experience and the ability to tailor value propositions to diverse personas.
- Strong data literacy and comfort engaging with technical concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to quickly build trust and rapport.
- Proven ability to learn new tools, processes, and industries and to build solutions from scratch.
- Prior experience in finance, operations, or consulting is a strong plus (not required).
- Based in New York or San Francisco and able to commute to the office 3–4 days per week.
- Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning and sharing that enthusiasm with the team.
- Deep product expertise; a habit of digging into customer pain points and use cases.
- Pride in craft—organized, thoughtful, strong work ethic, and care for the quality of your work.
