About the role

Adobe is seeking an Account Director to achieve sales targets through the sale of Adobe’s Digital Marketing product lines. As part of our enterprise sales team, you will work with Adobe’s largest customers in the Manufacturing industry, developing long-term relationships and crafting strategic account plans. This role involves software solution selling and direct, face-to-face engagement with customers to guide them in realizing value from Adobe’s solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Approach the business strategically and set a multi-year vision and strategy grounded in value.
  • Proactively identify and achieve sales targets, acting as an innovative and resilient problem solver.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to uncover viable solutions from their perspective.
  • Build strong executive relationships across multiple fields (CIO, CTO, CMO, CDO).
  • Demonstrate industry expertise, thought leadership, and a trusted advisor role.
  • Articulate Adobe’s value proposition and align solutions with customer business goals (e.g., ROI).
  • Lead and collaborate with Adobe’s ecosystem and partners to drive outcomes.
  • Manage large, sophisticated sales processes involving legal, deal desk, product marketing, and engineering teams.
  • Identify and collaborate with external third parties, including tech partners and system integrators.
  • Meet sales quotas and run an efficient business through strategic execution.
  • Build and maintain strong account plans, leading regular alignment meetings.
  • Maintain a rolling 4-quarter pipeline and collaborate with support teams (Marketing, Inside Sales, Partners) to funnel pipeline into accounts.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7+ years of proven track record selling solutions to Marketing, IT, and business lines in large enterprise organizations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, partnering with Adobe teams including Sales, Support, Engineering, Product, and Marketing.
  • Strong understanding of digital experience technologies and SaaS within the Manufacturing space.
  • Validated sales excellence and a creative, problem-solving approach.

Pay

The U.S. pay range for this position is $229,000 – $369,600 annually, varying by work location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Specific pay ranges for Colorado and Illinois are $246,400 – $356,800.

For sales roles, starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), with short-term incentives in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles express starting salaries as base salary with short-term incentives via the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP). Certain roles may also be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
