About the Role

The Enrollment Specialist/Secretary is responsible for the organization and coordination of office operations, procedures, and resources to facilitate organizational effectiveness and efficiency. This role supports recruitment and successful enrollment of students.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Relations
    • Communicates with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate, or explain information, and address complaints.
    • Efficiently and effectively handles customer inquiries and complaints.
    • Maintains a safe and secure working environment.
    • Establishes a presence in the community for outreach and recruiting purposes.
    • Provides enrollment counseling for incoming students and families.
    • Establishes a rapport with local and regional high schools and/or colleges.
    • Participates in local community events to increase community awareness of the school and recruit enrollment.
  • Administrative
    • Designs, implements, and maintains filing systems.
    • Establishes and monitors procedures for record keeping.
    • Ensures security, integrity, and confidentiality of data.
    • Designs and implements office policies and procedures.
    • Maintains office supplies inventory.
    • Demonstrates dedication, commitment, good character, honesty, integrity, and professionalism.
    • Understands, abides by, and implements the policies, directives, and guidelines set forth by the management company.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Education Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience Preferred: 1–3 years of office experience and proven experience working with customers. Supervisory experience is a plus.

Working Conditions

This job is performed in a generally clean and healthy environment. May work with challenging students at times.

Physical Requirements

The usual and customary methods of performing the job’s functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Supervision

Occasional, minimal guidance is provided; follows established work methods. This role does not have direct reports.
