About the Role
The Enrollment Recruitment Specialist will develop and implement an impactful, results-focused high school recruitment and community outreach strategy. This role focuses on building meaningful partnerships within the local community to enhance the Institute’s visibility and execute a successful high school recruitment plan.
Responsibilities
- Uphold the Nurtur Core Values and Behaviors and Aveda Success Factors.
- Manage and execute recruitment strategies using marketing and data-driven processes to increase high school student awareness of the Institute.
- Develop and maintain communication and sustainable relationships with high school counselors, community college coordinators, and high school students.
- Develop and execute market-specific recruitment strategies to support enrollment goals.
- Establish and maintain relationships with salons, spas, wellness businesses, employers, veterans’ organizations, workforce development agencies, and community partners.
- Identify new partnership opportunities that increase brand awareness and student recruitment.
- Serve as the local ambassador for the Institute within the community.
- Develop referral partnerships that create sustainable enrollment pipelines.
- Provide counseling to prospective students, assisting them in understanding the Institute’s admissions process, requirements, and available programs.
- Collaborate with the Admissions and Financial Aid Team to ensure annual enrollment goals are achieved.
- Organize community outreach programs and coordinate special events that promote products, services, and the Institute's mission.
- Plan, organize, coordinate, and attend on-campus recruitment events.
- Ensure a strong institute presence at community events within the market.
- Assist with social media content creation and brand promotion efforts.
- Create and share market-specific content, stories, and community engagement opportunities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Prior work experience in recruitment, high school counseling, admissions, or community relations preferred.
- Self-direction, initiative, resourcefulness, and follow-through with the ability to work at a fast pace and handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrate extreme professionalism and confidentiality in manner, dress, and conduct.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Sit at a desk with a computer for up to eight (8) hours per day.
- Use hands to handle objects and reach with hands and arms.
- Walk, sit, stand, balance, stoop, speak, and hear.
- See a computer screen and read paper and electronic documents.
- Occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 30 pounds.
- Tolerate a minimal to moderate noise level typical of a corporate office setting.
