Enrollment Management Analyst
About the role
The position involves tasks that may be straightforward, with at least half of the work being varied and moderately complex. Most tasks have a significant impact on the Office of the Registrar (URO), Student Success metrics, and Board of Governor performance metrics. While guidelines and procedures are established, some tasks require investigation and decision-making based on alternative courses of action.
Responsibilities
- Ensures timely, accurate processing and training on enrollment processes.
- Trains staff and oversees processes to ensure accurate input translates into automated processing and data reporting.
- Trains new staff in these processes across all campuses and confirms USF and URO policies, processes, and procedures for other internal and external stakeholders.
- Serves as a liaison to partner departments across the institution to ensure cross-institutional processes support collective data requirements for institutional, State, and federal reporting.
- Consulted to resolve complex, multidimensional issues, provide staff background and trends for decision making, interpret State and federal regulations, and contribute to improving the work that impacts student enrollment and retention and pre-eminence and performance-based metrics.
- Analyzes and updates data for report reconciliation for State and federal reporting, including residency, graduation, excess hours, school of record, transfer articulation, hours to degree, space file, National Student Clearinghouse enrollment and graduation files, and National Student Loan Data System attendance reporting.
- May serve as an institutional data steward for Board of Governor Files.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in related field with one year of related experience.
- Related work experience may not substitute for any required licensure, certification, or registration required for the position of employment as established by the public employer and indicated in the advertised description of the position of employment.
- Minimum Qualifications that require a high school diploma are exempt from SB 1310.
