Key Responsibilities
- Engage prospective students and families through inbound and outbound outreach, including leads generated through district partnerships and marketing channels
- Apply a consultative, student-centered approach to understand student goals, address barriers, and support successful enrollment
- Own the full enrollment funnel, managing prospective students from initial inquiry through their first day
- Guide students through application steps, answering questions and providing clear direction at each stage
- Clearly explain school structure, program requirements, pacing expectations, and student responsibilities
- Maintain accurate, real-time records of all outreach and interactions within CRM systems
- Consistently meet or exceed assigned enrollment goals and performance metrics
Nurture and Engagement
- Proactively follow up with prospective students to maintain momentum and meet enrollment deadlines
- Identify and address barriers to enrollment by connecting students with appropriate solutions and resources
- Motivate students who may lack confidence or have had challenging prior educational experiences
- Hold supportive, honest conversations about life circumstances and the value of re-engaging with education
- Collaborate with Document Processors, Registrars, and Academy Directors to ensure a seamless transition to the first day of school
- Demonstrate strong time management and maintain an organized, well-prioritized pipeline
Advocacy
- Represent Acceleration Academies with professionalism and enthusiasm in every student and guardian interaction
- Promote the value of our mission and dropout prevention model to students and families
- Support broader enrollment team objectives by taking on additional duties as needed
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Sales, or related field, preferred
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in telemarketing, call centers, or similar enrollment roles; Consultative sales experience, preferred
- Skills: Strong communication, relationship-building, organization, and time management skills
- Passion: A genuine commitment to supporting students who have disengaged from traditional schooling and a drive to help them succeed
- Language: Bilingual Spanish-English, preferred
- Technology: Experience with CRM or telemarketing software (e.g., Hubspot, Salesforce, Five9, Ring Central, etc.) preferred
- Compliance: Must pass state and federal background checks
- Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Preferred Skills: Experience in education, student services, teaching, counseling or youth engagement; Familiarity with enrollment software and high-volume calling environments; Persistence and follow-up discipline; Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment; Passion for working with opportunity youth or non-traditional learners
