Enrichment Instructor - Visual Arts

About the role

At Arc Experience, we bring learning to life through before and after-school programs that serve youth across Southern California. We seek an Enrichment Instructor to teach engaging, skill-based classes for students in grades K–12.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead engaging enrichment activities for youth (K–8).
• Create a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment for students.
• Teach a class of 20 students.
• Travel between local schools to teach scheduled classes.
• Attend occasional team meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience working in after-school programs or youth recreation, especially in ethnically and culturally diverse communities.
• Qualified in the specific skill we are looking for to teach our students.
• To be a good communicator and self-sufficient with limited supervision.
• College transcripts showing completion of 48+ college credit units or passing an academic proficiency exam.
• To provide proof of a negative TB test and pass a Live Scan background check.
• If applicable, to provide documentation of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
