Enhancement Foreman (Landscaping) - Orlando

Description Primary Accountability: This position assigns tasks, keep workers on task and inspects the quality of work while working alongside the crew members. The foreman is responsible to find solutions should challenges arise. Expectations/Responsibilities Ensures client standards are attained by prioritizing projects, assigning work tasks to crew members, procure required materials, file work orders and maintain records of projects.Conducts site inspections, provides hands-on leadership, and provides guidance for soil, planting, watering and insect controlLead crew and participate in planting and trimming trees, shrubs, groundcover, sod, seed, watering, grading soil and gravel.Drives and maintains our vehiclesTrains personnel with a strong emphasis on safetyWorking with the General Manager to create work schedules and maintain them.Shovel snow from walks, driveways, and parking lots, and spread salt in those areas.Operate powered equipment such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, chainsaws, electric clippers, sod cutters, and pruning saws.Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge and brush trimmers, and axes.Other duties as assigned. Requirements Qualifications/Competencies: Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GEDMust have 3+ years’ experience overseeing installation crewsMust possess a valid driver’s license with a good recordBackground check will be conductedPossesses supervisor and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated experience with the techniques and equipment used in landscapingAble to read blueprintsGood communication skills with management and general contractors.Time management and ability to meet daily deadlines.Ability to handle the physicality of our work: weather conditions, heavy lifting (30-80 pounds), and extensive walking.Ability to speak Spanish is a plus, but not required. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Must be able to complete successful drug screen as part of pre-employment testing. Salary Description $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
