English Writing Generalist – Advanced

About the Role

We're looking for experienced writers and editors to help evaluate and improve AI-generated content at a high level. This is not your average content job — you'll be making nuanced editorial decisions that directly shape how AI systems write, reason, and communicate in English.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate AI-generated writing for clarity, tone, structure, and accuracy
• Make nuanced editorial decisions on complex or ambiguous content
• Review and refine content for consistency across large-scale writing tasks
• Provide detailed, structured feedback and clear rationale for edits
• Uphold high quality standards that directly improve AI writing capabilities
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Master's Degree or higher in English, Humanities, Journalism, or a related discipline
• Advanced experience in writing, editing, or content quality assurance
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong editorial judgment
• Able to handle complex, nuanced content with confidence and precision
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on high-stakes tasks
• Based in the United States

Nice to Have

• Experience in professional editing, publishing, or content strategy
• Familiarity with AI writing tools or language evaluation workflows
• Background in quality assurance or editorial standards development
