Instruction
Instruction for our Fall Semester begins on September 8, 2026, and ends on December 20, 2026. Final Course Grades are due on December 27, 2026.
Courses
This is a writing-intensive course in writing academic prose, including various types of essays, arguments, and constructions.
What You Will Do
- Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
- Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
- Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
What You Will Bring
- Preferred: PhD in English OR Composition OR Writing OR Professional Writing OR Rhetoric
- Minimum: Master’s in the above areas
- Exceptions may be granted to individuals with a Master’s in any field AND 18-graduate credits in English AND substantial teaching experience
