English as a Second Language (ESL) Instructor for Children

About the role

LTC Language Solutions is seeking an ESL instructor for face-to-face tutoring for children. The role involves teaching beginner English to 3 or more students in a 1-1 environment at their homes in Santa Clara and Saratoga.

Responsibilities

• Teach language classes to elementary school-aged children
• Tutor at the students' homes in Santa Clara and Saratoga
• Work with students individually or in small groups
• Adapt curriculum based on student goals
• Supplement with authentic materials and activities
• Teach in a game and activity-based manner suitable for younger children

Requirements

• English speaker with 2+ years’ experience teaching children

Compensation

• $30-$35 per hour (negotiable)
