English AI Maps Trainer
About the role
What if your knowledge of English could help improve AI? You’ll evaluate the aesthetic quality, readability, and overall polish of digital map designs, assessing user-focused elements like viewport framing, geospatial accuracy, and content relevance. You’ll also review personalized location recommendations to ensure they are relevant and helpful.
Responsibilities
- Follow strict project instructions and complete tasks accurately, including tagging specific issues (e.g., “Icons not properly masked,” “Labels too small”).
Requirements
- Have an eye for artistic detail and intuitive design.
- Think critically about spatial accuracy, relevance, and context.
- Care about delivering polished and helpful digital experiences.
- Be located and have the right to work in the United States.
- Maintain an existing, actively used Gmail account with prior usage history on Google Maps.
- Participate in a maximum of three project rounds.

Eligible candidates will be added to a pool of certified raters and contacted at least 48 hours before kickoff.

- A desktop or laptop computer is required to complete the application and onboarding process. Mobile devices are not supported.
