What if your knowledge of the English language could help improve AI? You'll evaluate the aesthetic quality, readability, and overall polish of digital map designs, assessing user-focused elements and reviewing personalized location recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate the aesthetic quality, readability, and overall polish of digital map designs.
- Assess user-focused elements like viewport framing, geospatial accuracy, and content relevance.
- Review personalized location recommendations to ensure relevance and helpfulness.
- Follow strict project instructions and complete tasks accurately, including tagging specific issues (e.g., "Icons not properly masked," "Labels too small").
Qualifications
- Have an eye for artistic detail and intuitive design.
- Think critically about spatial accuracy, relevance, and context.
- Care about delivering polished and helpful digital experiences.
Requirements
- Located in and have the right to work in the United States.
- An existing, actively used Gmail account with prior usage history on Google Maps.
- Participation is limited to a maximum of three project rounds.
- The task request will be dynamic; a heads-up will be provided as soon as possible once a project round is available.
- Eligible candidates will be added to a pool of certified raters and contacted at least 48 hours before kickoff.
- A desktop or laptop computer is required to complete the application and onboarding process. Mobile devices are not supported.
- This project requires opt-in, consent-based access to limited elements of your activity history. A consent form will be provided for you to review and sign before participation.
Pay
- Hourly rate: US$20.30
Schedule
- Estimated volume: 8–10 hours per round.
- The project runs on a weekly basis.
