Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses and labs in Electronics Engineering Technology and related fields.
- Support students through the five-week terms offered by the School of Engineering Technology.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field with 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline from a regionally accredited educational institution.
- Experience in autonomous systems, educational robots, robot perception and sensing, control systems and mechatronics, robot learning, and familiarity with software like IsaacSim, Multisim, and Labview.
- Familiarity with Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLCs.
- Two years of teaching/curriculum experience and strong online presentation skills.
- Three to five years of industry experience in electrical and/or manufacturing engineering, with ten to fifteen years preferred.
- Strong background in control systems, instrumentation and measurements, and mechanical systems for mechatronics candidates.
- Experience with CAD software.
- Appropriate technical certification or licensure (if required).
Industry Experience
- Within the last five years.
- Experience in control systems, instrumentation and measurements, and mechanical systems for mechatronics candidates.

- Canvas LMS experience preferred.
- Experience in a student-centric and hands-on learning environment.
- High levels of integrity.
- Able to work in a 5-week course accelerated environment.

- Comfortable with technology and its integration in the classroom preferred.
