About the Role
This position supports customer service and construction activities for electrical distribution systems in new residential and mixed-use developments.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed work orders, technical reports, calculations, and sketches independently.
- Collaborate across teams to achieve project goals and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Conduct engineering studies and perform field design work for distribution system construction.
- Interpret plans, assist with roadway permitting, easements, and billing processes.
- Develop and maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strive for continuous technical and professional growth.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology with 4 years of relevant experience, or High School/GED with 6 years of experience.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with 2 additional years of experience.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, ability to handle multiple projects, and act with urgency.
- Experience in the utility industry is advantageous.
Work Environment
Hybrid work setting combining remote and onsite work, requiring effective collaboration with diverse individuals. Travel may be required up to 15%.
