Responsibilities

• Works on non-destructive testing assignments of routine nature and limited complexity following established and well-known procedures where limited judgment is required
• Assists higher level NDT Technicians by performing standard non-destructive testing inspections on components, parts, and assemblies
• Assists in setting up and calibrating equipment under the direct observation of higher level NDT Technicians
• Assists in preparing components for non-destructive testing inspection utilizing available equipment and processes under the direct observation of higher level technician(s)
• Maintains a neat and clean work area
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of experience
• Preferred Additional Skills:
• Knowledge of Applicable laws, codes, ordinances, and regulations
• Knowledge of the Techniques, tools, and equipment used in the inspection process
• Knowledge of Non-destructive testing methods
• Basic arithmetic, algebra, and physics principles and operations to solve problems
• Ability to interpret Engineering specifications, drawings, blueprints, production plans, and/or work instructions

Pay

The pay range for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 annually.
