Engineering Technician I

About the role

The Engineering Technician I position at Terracon involves performing field and/or laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials. This includes communicating with various stakeholders such as project managers, engineering technicians, client representatives, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Transport material samples to the laboratory for further testing and analysis.
• Tabulate, prepare, and submit data and observations in written and digital reports.
• Communicate findings and results to the Project Manager.
• Maintain and clean equipment, vehicles, and work areas.
• Assist with scheduling and dispatch of Technicians to project sites.
• Adhere to safety standards and report any safety issues or concerns to management.
• Maintain quality standards on all projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months experience required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
• Obtain Nuclear Density Gauge certification within 6 months of hire.
• Obtain ACI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Successful completion of related internal safety certifications.

Pay

Maximum Salary: $26.00/hour
Minimum Salary: $18.50/hour
