Engineering Technician

About the role

We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Engineering Technician to join our team. In this position, you will provide specialized engineering support within the Design Engineering group, performing a broad range of tasks such as managing engineering documentation, developing solutions to technical challenges, utilizing specialized engineering tools, and collaborating with dealers. You will also contribute to additional engineering support activities as needed to ensure efficient and effective operations, while collaborating with a dynamic and diverse team to achieve shared goals.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, and maintain engineering documentation.
• Generate, review, and distribute technical data and reports.
• Support other engineering departments through product engineering, typically by gathering product specifications, assembling fixtures, and aiding in test set up.
• Perform repairs, fabrication, modifications, and installations of electrical wiring harnesses, cables, wires, wiring assemblies, fixtures, and associated components.
• Support engineering change requests and related activities.
• Contribute to additional engineering support as required.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience as an engineering technician/engineering support.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications

While not all qualifications are listed above, we are looking for candidates who have a strong background in engineering and a positive attitude towards problem-solving and teamwork.

Our ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical skills and soft skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong communication abilities, and a high level of attention to detail.

Pay

$65,440 - $83,895 per year.

This is an in-person role located at our Greene, NY office.
