About the role

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Technician to join their team. Responsibilities

  • Build, assemble, and test electronic components following engineering specifications and work instructions.
  • Utilize hand and power tools to complete assembly and testing activities.
  • Troubleshoot and repair components under the direction of engineering staff.
  • Perform testing using standard equipment and document results accurately.
  • Analyze test results and report findings to support engineering projects.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, sketches, and technical documentation.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, tracking, and maintaining materials and parts.
  • Document testing procedures, equipment information, and specifications.
  • Build and modify prototypes from sketches, drawings, and engineering concepts.
  • Support additional engineering and production projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, testing, production, technical support, or a related environment preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and work instructions.
  • Intermediate math skills and comfort working with measurements and specifications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for working with small components and tools.
  • Positive attitude and a desire to learn and grow within the organization.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to perform precise hand movements and operate small tools and equipment.
  • Close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Pay

Salary range: $49,920-$52,000

Schedule

Monday-Friday | 7:00am-3:30pm
