About the role

The Engineering Technician supports daily manufacturing operations, leading a small team to build, test, troubleshoot, and improve manufacturing processes that ensure product quality, throughput, and consistency.

Responsibilities

  • Build, test, and improve parts, materials, and manufacturing processes to support production efficiency and quality.
  • Operate with a high level of independence while making informed decisions and adapting to changing production priorities and process needs.
  • Partner with Engineering teams to improve tooling, automation, and workflows that increase speed, safety, and consistency.
  • Evaluate process changes and implement improvements while maintaining production quality and safety requirements.
  • Identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and validate long-term process improvements.
  • Document process changes, troubleshooting steps, and best practices to support standardization and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of manufacturing, process engineering, or related experience
  • Ability to use and understand computer software and systems
  • Mechanical aptitude with experience working on manufacturing equipment, tooling, or fabricated products
  • Experience using CAD/CAM software in a manufacturing or fabrication environment

Qualifications

  • Ability to move throughout office and manufacturing environments for extended periods
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs while conducting shop floor reviews
  • Ability to visually inspect equipment, materials, and processes to assess quality and safety
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to work in environments with noise, moving equipment, temperature variation, and industrial hazards while following safety protocols
