Engineering Technician

Responsibilities

• Carry out tasks assigned by the Project Lead and engineering team.
• Draft grading, drainage, utility, street frontage improvements, and stormwater management plans in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil3D grading feature lines and utility pipe networks.
• Prepare drawings according to company and public agency CAD standards and project-dependent CAD specifications.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of experience in a position requiring intensive AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
• Experience drafting on-site and off-site improvement drawings for land development projects.
• General knowledge of computers, Microsoft office, Adobe, Internet, etc.
• Experience with BlueBeam a plus.

Qualifications

• Understanding Civil3D, AutoCAD.
• Basic understanding of Civil Engineering.
• Basic understanding of topographic and boundary surveys.
• Ability to understand and interpret design intent as communicated by engineers.
