Schedule

Full time, 40 hrs., M - F Days, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm / 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Location: 1301 S MAIN ST, OTTAWA, Kansas 66067

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates willingness to perform any required task to support medical center operations.
• Routes work orders to appropriate craft/shop for follow-up and completion.
• Checks DIN book at each nurse’s station and makes repairs or reports them to Facilities Management.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings for job completion.
• Maintains current and accurate work order documentation within 24 hours of work performed.
• Ensures quality of work with no more than two callbacks on the same job per month.
• Consistently meets preventive maintenance schedules.
• Maintains knowledge of main panels and shutoffs for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Complies with healthcare, federal, state, and local rules and regulations.
• Monitors building conditions and communicates needs to Facilities Management.
• Covers shifts or specific assignments as required by medical center needs.
• Performs repairs and preventive maintenance as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent OR 5+ years of experience [Required]
• 0+ years of general work experience [Preferred]
• Driver's License (DL) [Required]

$18.39 - $29.43 per hour
