Engineering Tech - IGT

Responsibilities

• Prepare Quality Assurance shipping documents for submittal and shipment to customers.
• Analyze and present data to managers and engineers for use in quality management and product improvement.
• Aid in root cause analysis for customer issues.
• Create product deviations using various software tools for customer approval.
• Compile necessary information to create shipment packages for various product lines.
• Aid the Quality Engineer in root cause analysis for any customer issues or escapes.
• Complete product reviews for any major customer issues before product shipments.
• Conduct internal auditing in various departments and processes to verify correct procedures are being followed.
• Complete monthly routing card organization for long-term record retention.

Qualifications

• Five years of related experience and/or training in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using all units of measure, whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to read and comprehend detailed operating instructions, safety rules, procedural manuals, and write routine reports.
• Standard mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using all units of measure, whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Must be able to function using Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel programs.
• Ability to create complex Excel spreadsheets, including the use of functions and formulas.
• Experience in root cause analysis methods, such as 5 Whys and Fishbone Diagrams.
