Engineering Tech I - General Maintenance Engineer (Full Time)

About the role

The Engineering Tech I position is a General Maintenance Engineer role responsible for performing general maintenance and repair duties throughout the resort, including guest rooms, meeting spaces, public areas, and front-of-house areas. You will conduct entry-level preventative maintenance to ensure guest rooms and public spaces remain in top condition. The role also includes assisting with basic repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment.

Requirements

• A minimum of one year building maintenance experience is required, with hotel experience preferred.
• Good customer skills are also required.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills, along with a commitment to delivering excellent guest service through consistent attention to detail. Success in this role also requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay

The pay rate for this position is $20.00-$22.00 hourly. This is the pay rate for this position that The Grand Hyatt Indian Wells reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.
