Responsibilities
- Perform data entry within the AS400 system.
- Create and maintain machine configurations, product options, assemblies, bills of materials (BOMs), engineering records, and related product data within the AS400 system.
- Support the Engineering Change Request (ECR) process.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of engineering documentation prior to release.
- Carefully coordinate engineering changes with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Production, Quality, and Service departments as needed.
- Manage engineering drawing releases and maintain revision control.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to engineering processes and document management.
- Support CAREs system responses related to customer and internal quality reporting.
- Create, maintain, and print labels, including data tags and UL labels.
- Manage RECSPAR (recommended spare parts) lists and associated documentation.
- Support engineered-to-order (ETO) custom item setup, execution, and follow-through.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ace degree in Engineering Technology, Business Administration, a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
- Two or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or document control environment.
- Experience creating and maintaining bills of materials (BOMs) and engineering records.
- Working knowledge of engineering change management processes.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience using AS400 or similar ERP/MRP systems.
- Experience with engineering document control and revision management.
- Familiarity with engineering drawings and bills of materials.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD for viewing and making basic revisions to engineering drawings.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
Qualifications
- A “disabled veteran” is one of the following:
