Engineering Specialist/Sr. Specialist - Asset Management
Position Summary
This position is primarily onsite, with the opportunity to work from home 1–2 days per week as business needs and job responsibilities permit.
Responsibilities
- Aid in project close-out quality assurance review duties.
- Support office design-related activities including calculations, project layout and design, and shop drawing review.
- Coordinate legal descriptions and documents relative to capital projects and/or the acquisition, relinquishment and management of right-of-way and property.
- Coordinate technicians involved in office or field activities in support of programs.
- Research records and compile information.
- Aid in the development and coordination of Engineering and Construction Standards.
- Conduct and assist in field and laboratory tests, field measurements, filing of reports, and record keeping.
- Perform related work as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities – Engineering Sr. Specialist
- Engage in engineering-related construction contract-related activities including construction management and inspection, contract administration, schedules, and payment estimates.
- Aid in project close-out quality assurance review duties.
- Manage communication, projects, and program meetings.
- Support office design-related activities including calculations, project layout and design, shop drawings, checking and plotting survey notes, and preparing cost estimates.
- Coordinate technicians involved in office or field activities in support of programs.
- Prepare material and quantity takeoffs, maps, and data.
- Research records and compile information.
- Perform independent manufacturer and product standard reviews.
- Aid in the development and coordination of Engineering Standards and Construction Standards.
- Conduct and assist in field and laboratory tests, field measurements, filing of reports, and record keeping.
- Perform related work as required.
Asset Management – Engineering Specialist
- Act as the point of contact for Engineering Specialists throughout the organization to ensure compliance with asset management programs and directives.
- Assess and assist data reporting needs, and system capabilities to deliver actionable information to key decision makers.

Hiring Range
- $78,427.80 - $88,884.84 Annually - Engineering Specialist
- $96,592.50 - $109,471.50 Annually - Engineering Sr. Specialist
Position Minimum Requirements
- Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field. No related work experience is required for Engineering Specialist. Minimum 4 years of related work experience for Engineering Sr. Specialist.
- Licenses, Registration, and Certifications: Must be able to possess and maintain a valid Class ‘R’ Colorado driver’s license and have a satisfactory driving record at time of hire.
- Preferred Skills: Emerging Technology Awareness.
