Engineering Specialist / CAD Technician, Municipal

Responsibilities

• Develop civil engineering designs under the guidance of a licensed engineer
• Prepare and revise technical drawings and construction documents for municipal projects
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and project teams to deliver high-quality design solutions
• Coverge with internal disciplines to ensure consistency and accuracy across project deliverables
• Perform quality control reviews to ensure plans and specifications are complete, accurate, and constructible
• Support project managers with conceptual, preliminary, and final design efforts, including cost estimates and proposals
• Participate in client and team meetings to support project delivery and address technical questions

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience in civil design or engineering
• Experience with the City of Tulsa is preferred
• Proficiency in CAD design software (Civil 3D preferred or similar tools)
• Familiarity with design platforms such as AutoCAD, Bentley, ArcGIS
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy
• Able to collaborate effectively across teams and disciplines
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to project sites as needed
