Engineering Services Manager
About the role
withparagraphs. - Responsibilities: the "Key Responsibilities" list. We'll put under
Responsibilities
with- items.
- Requirements: maybe combine Qualifications Required (Basic) and Preferred Qualifications? The spec says we have sections Requirements, Qualifications, Skills. We need to decide what to put where. The posting has "Qualifications Required (Basic)" and "Preferred Qualifications". Also there is "What will make you successful?" which includes skills/attributes. Could map:
- Requirements: maybe the basic qualifications (education, experience). Could be under Requirements.
- Qualifications: maybe preferred qualifications.
- Skills: maybe the "What will make you successful?" traits (driven, entrepreneurial, understanding of manufacturing processes, communication, etc.) Or we could treat that as Skills.
We need to avoid thin sections; only include if real specific content. We have content for each.
Pay: we have salary range and variable incentive program. So we can include Pay section.
Benefits: we have description of benefits (Health and Welfare, Retirement, paid/unpaid time away). That's specific enough? It says Eaton provides various Health and Welfare benefits as well as Retirement benefits, and several programs that provide for paid and unpaid time away from work. Click here for more detail: Eaton Benefits Overview. That's somewhat generic but still mentions benefits. It's not placeholder like "commensurate with experience". It's actual statement. So we can include Benefits.
Schedule: we have travel approx 25% and location Syracuse, NY. Could be considered schedule? The spec says Schedule section only if posting actually states them. It mentions "approximately 25% travel". That's schedule/travel. Could include Schedule section with that detail. Also relocation assistance. Might be considered schedule? Probably okay.
We must not repeat job title as heading. Not include Job ID etc.
We must remove boilerplate: EEO, legal, scam-warning, duplicated lines, application instructions. Also remove "All positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process." etc. Also remove "We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities..." etc. Also remove "Eaton believes in second chance employment..." etc. Also remove "To request a disability-related reasonable accommodation..." etc. Also remove "We know that good benefit programs are important..."? Actually we kept that as Benefits. But we need to ensure we don't include the click here link? It's okay to keep as plain text.
We must preserve all substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to keep the specifics: list of products manufactured, salary range, variable incentive, responsibilities bullet points, qualifications, preferred qualifications, success traits, benefits description, travel 25%, relocation assistance, location Syracuse, NY.
We need to format as HTML fragment only.
Let's craft.

The spec says we can use Skills heading. So we could rename that heading to Skills. But the instruction: Usefor section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It says e.g., not exhaustive. Schedule:Schedule
This role is based at the Syracuse, NY facility and includes approximately 25% travel. Relocation assistance is available.
We need to ensure we didn't duplicate location/travel info already in About the role. It's okay to have some overlap but we should avoid duplication? The instruction: Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. It didn't forbid duplication, but we should avoid redundant duplication if possible. However the location and travel appear in both About the role and Schedule. Could we keep only in Schedule and remove from About the role? But About the role also includes other details like opportunity, manufacturing description. We could keep location/travel in About the role as well; it's not harmful. But maybe better to keep it only once to avoid redundancy. However the instruction says preserve ALL substantive information; duplication is still preserving. It's not prohibited. I'd keep it in About the role and also in Schedule? That duplicates. Might be considered redundant but not wrong. However they said "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." Duplication doesn't affect that. I'd keep location/travel in About the role and also mention in Schedule? Might be redundant but okay. But we could move location/travel to Schedule only and keep About the role focusing on role description, opportunity, manufacturing. Let's do that: About the role
