Engineering Services Manager

Responsibilities

• Manages and directs the Engineering Services Team
• Develops and implements the Engineering Services annual operations plan
• Provides management and supervision to Engineering Services staff
• Develops and maintains contracts and professional relationships with operations clients, engineering consultants, construction contractors, government agencies and regulators
• Prepares planning reports and studies, designs, plans, specifications, estimates and reports for projects

Qualifications

• Strong budget and profit/loss management skills
• Deep understanding of water and wastewater infrastructure systems
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions
• 5+ years of supervisory or managerial experience in water and wastewater engineering

Skills

• Advanced level general skills, including written and verbal communications skills, computational and computer skills, and mathematical knowledge
• Formal training in business and project management, including understanding of planning, design and construction of water/wastewater collection and conveyance infrastructure
• Thorough knowledge of state and federal regulations related to water, wastewater, recycled water, and basic operation and maintenance of water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and collection and distribution systems
• Valid Driver License, Hawaii Professional Engineer’s License, and Certified Construction Manager certificate

Benefits

• Annual incentive bonus with an earning potential of 16% of base pay (18% if managing greater than ten million dollars for at least one year)

Pay

Pay Range: $121,200 - $155,300
