Engineering Section Manager (Equipment & Process)

About the role

This role provides leadership to both the process and equipment team within a particular engineering 'section'. You will oversee the technical support, maintenance, and sustaining engineering functions in a product manufacturing area. You may also plan and direct the implementation of equipment and process modifications to improve tool uptime, production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques, and production yields for existing products. You will ensure the effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel in producing quality products at minimum costs. Additionally, you will select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical support, maintenance, and sustaining engineering functions in a product manufacturing area

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or other related Engineering degrees
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience

Qualifications

• Preferred Qualifications: Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally, Strong verbal and written communication skills, Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills, Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions, Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
