About the role

The Engineering Rotation Program at The Dixon Group offers a comprehensive professional development track where participants gain hands-on experience across various departments, including high-tech design centers, heavy-duty foundries, and advanced manufacturing floors. This immersive program aims to build a robust technical foundation and prepare participants for permanent engineering roles.

Responsibilities

• Mastery of SolidWorks and manual machining
• Part fabrication and casting design
• Technical challenges in division-specific environments
• Advanced machining processes and quality control
• Mentorship and regular review by Engineering Managers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Recent or upcoming graduates preferred
• 2+ years of relevant experience in product design and development
• Internships, co-ops, and academic projects are valued
• Self-starter with minimal supervision needed
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Organized problem-solver with analytical and technical skills
• Experience with MS Office and SolidWorks (or other CAD software)
