Electrical Engineering Rotation Associate
About the role
The Electrical Engineering Rotational Program (EERP) is a two-year development program designed to build future-ready engineering leaders across our diversified portfolio of operating companies. This full-time program provides early-career engineers with immersive, hands-on experience in electrical engineering design, testing, manufacturing support, and innovation initiatives.
Responsibilities
Testing & Validation Engineering
- Reporting to the Engineering Test Lab or Validation Manager
- Perform hands-on electrical testing in a lab environment
- Execute validation plans
- Generate detailed test reports
- Analyze results to support product performance, reliability, and improvements
Electrical Design Engineering
- Reporting to Engineering Leadership
- Support the design and development of electrical and/or magnetic components and systems
- Aid in schematic development, component selection, and technical documentation
Mechanical Engineering Rotation (MTI)
- Based at MTI operating company in Pleasant Prairie, WI
- Support mechanical engineering teams in product design and integration with electrical systems
Application Engineering
- Reporting to Application Engineering or Customer Support Leadership
- Support inbound customer calls and technical inquiries
- Provide product recommendations and relay customer insights back to engineering
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain teams
- Assist in evaluating electrical and/or magnetic components and systems
- Analyze engineering data and provide recommendations for product and process improvements
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, quality enhancement, and operational efficiency
Requirements
- Recent Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for innovation and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Experience with electrical engineering principles and practices
- Knowledge of testing and validation methodologies
- Understanding of mechanical engineering concepts
- Technical writing and report generation skills

Pay
Salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 annually
Schedule
Full-time position with a two-year rotational program consisting of four six-month rotations.
