Electrical Engineering Rotation Associate

About the role

The Electrical Engineering Rotational Program (EERP) is a two-year development program designed to build future-ready engineering leaders across our diversified portfolio of operating companies. This full-time program provides early-career engineers with immersive, hands-on experience in electrical engineering design, testing, manufacturing support, and innovation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Testing & Validation Engineering

  • Reporting to the Engineering Test Lab or Validation Manager
  • Perform hands-on electrical testing in a lab environment
  • Execute validation plans
  • Generate detailed test reports
  • Analyze results to support product performance, reliability, and improvements

• Electrical Design Engineering

  • Reporting to Engineering Leadership
  • Support the design and development of electrical and/or magnetic components and systems
  • Aid in schematic development, component selection, and technical documentation

• Mechanical Engineering Rotation (MTI)

  • Based at MTI operating company in Pleasant Prairie, WI
  • Support mechanical engineering teams in product design and integration with electrical systems

• Application Engineering

  • Reporting to Application Engineering or Customer Support Leadership
  • Support inbound customer calls and technical inquiries
  • Provide product recommendations and relay customer insights back to engineering
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain teams
  • Assist in evaluating electrical and/or magnetic components and systems
  • Analyze engineering data and provide recommendations for product and process improvements
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, quality enhancement, and operational efficiency

Requirements

• Recent Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for innovation and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical engineering principles and practices
• Knowledge of testing and validation methodologies
• Understanding of mechanical engineering concepts
• Technical writing and report generation skills

Pay

Salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time position with a two-year rotational program consisting of four six-month rotations.
