- Align with GE Vernova corporate and business leadership to establish a common, scalable design quality framework and ensure consistent application across businesses
- Translate strategy into execution by developing standards, work instructions, and deployment roadmaps that enable practical implementation across engineering
- Drive global adoption and sustainment of the framework, including training, capability building, and structured change management across functions and regions
- Own core Design assurance processes (e.g., DFMEA) and ensure integration and effective application of related processes (e.g., DFM, DFA, DFS) within the broader design quality system
- Partner with adjacent value streams (e.g., Build, Buy, Execute) to strengthen design robustness, improve cross-functional risk visibility, and ensure alignment between design intent and product realization
- Support execution and coach engineering teams through program-level quality reviews (e.g., QRRs) to ensure effective application of Design quality standards, robust risk identification, and consistent use of IQP tools
- Establish and operate governance systems, including audits, maturity assessments, QMR/MOR operating rhythms, and performance tracking to ensure adherence and effectiveness
- Drive upstream defect prevention and technical risk reduction, improving right-first-time execution and reducing reliance on downstream inspection and rework
