About the role

A Project Manager leading CapEx projects impacting performance, safety, and long-term success of North American operations. Key responsibilities include safety promotion, project leadership, continuous improvement, and leadership development.

Responsibilities

  • Safety & Compliance: Promote safety, align equipment with regulatory and company standards, supervise contractors, ensure HSE compliance.
  • Project Leadership: Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria; coordinate engineering interfaces, drive improvements, prepare capital applications, deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Continuous Improvement & Documentation: Develop MOC system, maintain project documentation, communicate updates, support maintenance, identify and implement solutions, develop factory acceptance test criteria.
  • Leadership & Performance: Build trust, monitor KPIs, collaborate with engineering leadership, influence and lead across functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management, project engineering, or process engineering experience.
  • Minimum 5 years leading, developing, and coaching teams.
  • Strong experience with data analysis, project/process management, and risk management.
  • Experience developing and managing KPIs.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, communicate, and lead across functions.

Qualifications

  • Proven success managing projects over $500K.
  • Ability to walk, climb stairs/ladders, lift/carry up to 20 lbs, operate various types of equipment in the field, and operate standard office equipment.
  • Domestic travel up to 25%, with occasional international travel possible.
