About the role

We are seeking a program manager to oversee the launch and successful scaling of a new service that automates the book processing for public and school libraries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the service operates efficiently and scales reliably.

Responsibilities

  • Surface risks early and drive them to closure while running pilot operations day-to-day alongside operations, fulfillment, and the processing vendor.

  • Hit the agreed quality and delivery bar on every order, capturing what works and turning it into a repeatable onboarding and operations playbook.

  • Drive throughput and quality as volume scales from roughly a thousand to several thousand units a day, finding bottlenecks, eliminating defect sources, raising yield, and feeding operational data into build, buy, and automate decisions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

  • Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams

  • 2+ years of supply chain experience
