Engineering Operation Technician
About the role
We are seeking a program manager to oversee the launch and successful scaling of a new service that automates the book processing for public and school libraries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the service operates efficiently and scales reliably.
Responsibilities
Own the operating cadence for the service, including building and running metrics, business reviews, and reporting that track processing quality, throughput, and delivery SLAs.
Surface risks early and drive them to closure while running pilot operations day-to-day alongside operations, fulfillment, and the processing vendor.
Hit the agreed quality and delivery bar on every order, capturing what works and turning it into a repeatable onboarding and operations playbook.
Drive throughput and quality as volume scales from roughly a thousand to several thousand units a day, finding bottlenecks, eliminating defect sources, raising yield, and feeding operational data into build, buy, and automate decisions.
