Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of full-stack engineers through hiring, coaching, and role structuring
- Stay hands-on by reviewing code and engaging directly with the team's codebase
- Define and refine the product roadmap and hold the team accountable for results
- Drive shipping pace and focus on iterative decision-making
- Remove obstacles for the team by addressing blockers and challenges directly
- Collaborate with game studio partners to understand their needs and improve tools and APIs
- Work with cross-functional teams to design shared commerce solutions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience building production systems
- 2+ years of engineering management or technical leadership on user-facing products
- Familiarity with technologies like Python, TypeScript/React, and React Native
- Strong product sense with ability to influence product direction
- Comfortable working in ambiguous, experimental environments
- Prominent track record in developing and growing engineering talent
- Ownership mentality regarding team outcomes and decision-making
