About the role

The role involves working on cutting-edge projects in the field of geospatial technology. Responsibilities include developing software solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the growth of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other engineers.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of new features and improvements to existing systems.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality standards are met.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in software development.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and SQL.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of geospatial data processing and analysis tools.
  • Experience with geospatial databases and APIs.
  • Understanding of cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Good understanding of web development principles and practices.

Skills

  • Proficiency in geospatial libraries and frameworks (e.g., GeoPandas, Folium).
  • Experience with geospatial data formats (e.g., GeoJSON, KML).
  • Knowledge of geospatial algorithms and techniques.
  • Experience with geospatial visualization tools (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS).
