Why This Role Matters
As our Engineering Manager, you will lead and grow a high-performing engineering team. You will mentor engineers, contribute to production code, drive technical direction, and ensure quality. This role requires full ownership and pushing for excellence.
Where You'll Create Impact
- Run planning, standup, retrospectives, and concise meetings
- Unblock engineers and minimize distractions
- Partner with Product on roadmap, prioritization, and execution
- Drive delivery of major features and technical initiatives
- Design and review system architecture, APIs, and data models
- Balance speed, scalability, and long-term maintainability
What Sets You Up For Success
- Hardcore work ethic and high agency
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- 3+ years of experience leading teams
- Proven track record of shipping products at a high pace
- Strong experience with Python and React/Next.js (preferred)
- Experience building scalable APIs and systems
- Experience leading projects or systems end-to-end
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Comfortable operating with high ownership in ambiguous environments

Compensation & Benefits
- Equity: $100,000 - $120,000
- Base salary: $200,000 - $350,000
- 15 PTO days + 12 public holidays
