About the role

The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support. IAS generates custom solutions to customer budgets, performance, and schedule requirements and designs to consistently exceed expectations – with an unrivaled record of on time and on (or under) budget deliveries.

Responsibilities

  • Support project staffing plans, schedules, budgets, bids, and estimates for proposed program work packages, including the execution of risk mitigation plans.
  • Ensure the availability and effectiveness of required tools, processes, and training to achieve program success, while aligning with SNC tools/processes and industry best practices/standards.
  • Manage resource allocations required for program task execution, as well as risk, issue, and challenge identification.
  • Collaborate with the business to determine staffing requirements and help source, screen, interview, and hire top engineering talent.
  • Execute onboarding support, training, mentorship, and career path/talent development activities for engineering discipline teams.
  • Provide career path support, conduct performance evaluations, and facilitate conflict resolution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's of Science degree in a related discipline
  • Typically, 8+ years of progressive engineering experience, which includes 4+ years of management experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of industry-standard mechanical design principles, to include, but not limited to parametric design, model-based definition, material hardware selection, manufacturing, and production processes.
  • Thorough understanding of engineering principles and practices.
  • Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools, analysis and simulation.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Skills

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.

Pay

$165,010.21 - $226,889.04. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
