Engineering Manager

About the Role

TRC Worldwide Engineering is seeking a licensed Structural Engineering Manager in Plantation, FL to design and manage complex projects across a wide variety of building types, including hospitals, higher education, public sector buildings, and commercial office buildings.

Responsibilities

• Design and day-to-day management of complex structural engineering projects
• Act as lead engineer, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to staff
• Oversee construction administration, including processing submittals and conducting site inspections
• Ensure all assigned deadlines are met and clients are satisfied

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in design of multi-story buildings at structural consulting firm(s)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Skills

• Experience with engineering software such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, RAM SS, ADAPT, and EnerCalc
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit drafting (preferred)
