About the role
This is a strategic role that oversees critical engineering projects to ensure they align with company objectives and long-term growth objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of engineers, offering support, guidance, and training while fostering a culture dedicated to professional development
- Create and implement different engineering strategies to support organizational & project goals
- Spearhead the planning, coordination, execution, and completion of various engineering projects, ensuring each remains within established timelines, scope, and budget requirements
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure engineering solutions are seamlessly integrated across all affected business functions
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, championing the adoption of new technologies, process improvements, and updates to existing methodologies
- Manage engineering budgets and resource planning for each project, ensuring optimal utilization of funding and resource allocation
- Maintain compliance with applicable quality requirements, industry standards, and regulations across all engineering activities
- Ensure effective communication with stakeholders, providing detailed status updates for each project/engineering initiative
- Seamlessly juggle multiple complex engineering projects at a time, possessing the ability to move from one to the next with ease
- Work well in a team environment as well as independently
- Other duties as assigned/as necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field; Master’s degree is preferred
- 10+ years’ experience in an engineering or related technical field; preferably in a manufacturing environment
- 5+ years’ experience in a leadership role
- Proven track record of delivering complex engineering projects and successfully leading a team
- Strong computer skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong strategic planning & execution skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Self-motivated
Pay
$150,000 – $200,000 annually depending on experience + excellent benefits
Schedule
Position is full-time, direct hire; up to 30% travel possible
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and meet ITAR regulations; Visa sponsorship is not available
