Engineering Manager
The Role
Cultivate Elite Talent: Manage the full employee lifecycle—from interviewing and hiring to coaching and performance appraisals—ensuring every team member is aligned with NuWaves’ high-performance culture.
Optimize the Engine: Drive new thoughts in engineering approach, processes, and methods to increase productivity, lower costs, and ensure higher-quality solutions are delivered on time.
Orchestrate Cross-Functional Success: Facilitate decision-making and resolve conflicts across domains, working closely with Project Managers to ensure engineering resources are perfectly aligned with mission requirements.
Champion Technical Excellence: Chair design reviews, lead technical work sessions, and train the team on industry best practices and internal procedures.
Support the Mission Pipeline: Assist in the Bid and Proposal (B&P) process by providing expert cost estimates, technical writing, and detailed engineering solutions for high-value Defense and Space projects.
Build Strategic Relationships: Interact with potential clients to conduct project feasibility and develop the technical trust necessary to win high-value development contracts.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
