Engineering Manager

For our client, a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space, we are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will collaborate across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions, influencing architecture, execution quality, and long-term technology capabilities.

Location: Remote – US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Stand up and activate a multi-disciplinary engineering team
• Establish and lead regular office stand-ups for alignment and accountability
• Mentor engineers throughout the lifecycle of the test site
• Coordinate collaboration between engineering, operations, and management teams
• Drive structured problem-solving efforts for technical issues
• Promote a collaborative and innovative environment for continuous improvement
• Conduct performance reviews and provide career development guidance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of progressive engineering experience in testing or R&D environments
• 3–5 years of experience in engineering leadership or management role
• Experience managing a new technical activity startup
• Demonstrated proficiency in test planning, execution, and data analysis
• Strong background in multi-disciplinary engineering involving mechanical and electrical systems

Pay

$170,000 – $225,000 annually
