Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

Lead and manage end-to-end deployment and release activities across production and non-production workloads on Azure/AWS.

Own and govern DevOps pipelines and release processes, ensuring consistency, traceability, and adherence to change management standards.

Partner with global IT, engineering, and business teams to plan, schedule, and execute deployments with minimal business disruption.

Drive automation, standardization, and continuous improvement of deployment workflows to enhance speed, quality, and reliability.

Ensure all releases comply with security, regulatory, and audit requirements, including supporting audit readiness and evidence collection.

Maintain deployment documentation and runbooks, while promoting best practices in release management and driving root cause analysis for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of recent experience leading deployment, release management, and CI/CD engineering teams in complex enterprise environments.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred; minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams, advance strategic DevOps and CI/CD initiatives, and deliver with urgency, ownership, and measurable results.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end DevOps, deployment, and software delivery lifecycle processes.
• Experience leading platform and DevOps teams in translating business requirements into scalable solutions, driving system documentation, and resolving deployment, integration, and operational issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-ready status reporting and stakeholder updates (200TEC).
