Engineering Manager
About the role
Crane Aerospace and Electronics has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineering Manager at our Lynnwood, WA location.
Essential Functions
- Provide leadership and management for product development and sustaining programs and activities
- Lead initiatives to improve electrical engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and product quality
- Plan and manage the deployment of resources for multiple projects
- Establish and monitor department budgets
- Encourage and provide opportunities for continued relevant technical training
- Provide technical assistance to Business Development to win new business and drive company growth
- Provide the appropriate skill mix to sustain and grow the business and to meet customer requirements
- Manage the design, development, and testing of electrical systems, components, and products to ensure compliance with industry standards (such as MIL-PRF-38534)
- Develop, enhance and maintain a core team as well as an external network of consultants, contractors and suppliers to support product development
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the electrical engineering team, ensuring best practices in DC-DC design, power systems, and hybrid circuit technologies
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with electrical designs, including thermal management, electromagnetic interference (EMI), and radiation effects
- Lead initiatives to improve electrical engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and product quality
- Any other tasks assigned by supervisor or management
Eligibility Requirement
This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Working Conditions
- Standard office environment
- Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment
- Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPE
- May be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust or fumes
- Standing: 10%
- Sitting: 90%

Salary Range
$168,445.20 - $202,021. Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications. Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs.
