Engineering & Maintenance Manager

Main Duties

• Determine and direct all plant engineering and maintenance services for the manufacturing facility.
• Implement necessary changes to support manufacturing organizational changes and strategies.
• Implement capital improvements for building utility, manufacturing processes, and associated equipment.
• Achieve operational efficiency by directing internal maintenance activities including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and spare parts management.
• Manage procedures and equipment changes for maintenance effectiveness, predictive maintenance programs, EHS compliance, and building / other code compliance.
• Ensure site productivity by providing oversight for project engineering related to facility capital projects.
• Evaluate needs and assess options for facility capital projects.
• Define costs and justify project plans for facility capital projects.
• Create and implement project plans to improve the manufacturing environment, focusing on costs, efficiencies, yields, and quality.
• Manage third-party service contracts by developing requirements, qualifying vendors, and providing service monitoring / improvements.
• Manage multi-accomplished teams (engineering/maintenance) to enhance a results-oriented and service-minded culture in a food and beverage production environment.
• Manage multi-million dollar manufacturing projects, operating expense and capital budgeting, and work order/preventative maintenance programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (or MS) degree in Engineering
• 5+ years experience in Manufacturing and Plant Engineering & Maintenance
• 5+ years of leadership and project management experience
• Lean manufacturing experience, TPM, Six Sigma, continuous improvement processes/methodologies
• SAP experience

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor of Science (or MS) degree in Engineering

• Must have 5+ years of leadership and project management experience
• Must have lean manufacturing experience, TPM, Six Sigma, continuous improvement processes/methodologies

Pay

Target pay is $125k - $150k per year. Annual Bonus
